DESCRIPTION

Mold 1 - Mermaid Babies Plastic Mold - $40

Here is a mold set of 2 mermaid babies.  There are two pieces and the mold is made of hard clear plastic.  This is the original vintage plastic mold of these babies.  There have been newer molds made of these babies in a white plastic but they don't have near the detail and elegance the original mold has.  The finished merboy holding the bubble is 5" tall and the mermaid kissing the bubble is 4" tall.  No cracks in the molds.

Mold 2 - Vitrix Ceramic Mermaid Mold - Mom & Babies - $150

This is a ceramic mold of the Ponytail mom and her 3 bubble babies.  In the mold the Mom is 8.5" and the babies are 3.5", 4.5" and 5".  Slip/greenware shrinks a little so the finished pieces will be slightly smaller.  This mold was made by VITRIX and has the Vitrix mark on the outside - it has never been used.  VITRIX is no longer in business so this mold, especially in un-unused condition, is a real find.
