Introduction

My custom mermaids, seahorses, fish, whales, octopus, squid, bubbles and go-withs are made from vintage molds I have acquired over the years.  You can select the piece you want and and have it designed to match your decor, and even your child's hair/eye color!    I use only the best products including professional paints, vintage flowers/jewelry and Swarvoski rhinestones to attain a professional look rather than a "home-made" look.  On some pieces I use a combination of airbrush and hand painting.  The only thing I buy from a hobby store is glue.  My copyright signature is on the back of the main piece of a set, and I don't sell anything that I would not be proud to put in my own house!

Some things to think about while looking at my selection of mermaids.  Do you.........
want a gloss finish on your set, or do you prefer the matte porcelain look?
like a pearl color with shine, or do you prefer the more opaque look?
prefer a few short eyelashes or long, wispy eyelashes?
have a preference which way the seacreature's eyes are looking (ie right, left or up)?
want gold highlighting like the vintage pieces, or a more modern silver highlighting?
prefer a more vintage look with few embellishments, or do you want lots of sparkle with rhinstones, glitter, flowers/jewelry?
What color Hair/Eye/Tailfin and skintone do you want on your set.. I even have a color chart for you to use!

Most of my items are hand painted, but on the bubbles, fish, whales and seahorses I prefer using an airbrush because color blending is needed.  The airbrush colors have a different color chart than the ones I use for hand painting.  In the description of my items I mention if I use an airbrush so you should look at the color chart below when picking colors for my airbrushed items.
Airbrush Color Charts:
Blue, Pink, Yellow, Green, Purple

When you are ready to order, please look at my
Place Order section to find about shipping/payment options.  All my items are priced on a cash basis (money order or check) so if you prefer to pay via PayPal, the processing fee will be added to your total cost.  I do this to give my customers the choice of adding the paypal fee rather than me pricing my items just assuming everyone uses paypal.

Lastly.... I am a one person shop.  I created this website and maintain it.  I am also the artist that creates all the custom seacreatures offered here.  The emails you send, come to me, Sandy Shores (aka Sandy Troy, my maiden name).  I am here to answer any questions you have and help you make decisions.
